Mayor's Youth Employment Program - open to ages 16-21. Must have a 2.0 or higher GPA. Apply online and see website for full details.
Manufacturing Job Fair - FSCJ Advanced Technology Center - October 11th from 1 pm to 6 pm.
Apprenticeship Programs in Florida: Here is a comprehensive list of apprenticeship programs that train you to learn a trade. You are paid through training, but make more money when you finish your training.

Career Coach - FSCJ website that helps you search for various careers. It also provides local data on wages, employment, job postings, and associated education and training.
Career Shines: State of Florida website that allows you to take three interest inventories that can link you with potential majors or careers. Watch videos on those careers, find out employment trends, etc.
Roadtrip Nation: Find majors and careers that interest you.
Occupational Outlook Handbook: This website is manned by the US Department of Labor. It includes data and statistics, as well as job descriptions, education required, and wages.
